Kinja'd!!!

I had some fun imagining what the little toad would look like with some aftermarket love. Maybe in a few years, when all the early models are off warranty and electric components have gone down in price, we will start seeing a new generation of tuning.

Stronger batteries, more powerful electric motors, and the ability to tune from your smartphone. Combine that with some real wheels and tires (taken from the M2 in this case) and a few other subtle mods make a world of difference.

A rear engined (well, motor), rear wheel drive, carbon composite, compact electric BMW sounds like a good time to me. What do you think?

The i3 is actually body on frame. So if someone out their really wanted to make a different body they could.

Or, you could remove the electric motor and all of the batteries, and swap in a motorcycle engine.

More HP, less weight, better sound, more fun.

I like the way you think. Cheapest used ones I’ve seen are around $15k us. Still too rich for my blood. Maybe some day...
