That’s it, after two years, something broke on the SA22C! Fuel pump... Ok, not much but still! My super reliable rotary has had a problem!
Also, Mazda’s chassis are just nice.

Had some voltage at the pump issues too (most likely why it died in the first place), so I replaced all the wires to the pump too... It took me a little while total, especially since I don’t have a garage and everytime I need something, I have to go back home, 300m away lol...

all of the SA/FB Chassis after a certain date have a leftward lean to them due to wear in the tooling.

It’s more that people notice it when parked on level surfaces the left rear corner is not level with the rest of the chassis. I noticed it on mine, asked rx7club and they had a pretty well documented thread, along with a dealer fix from back in the day.

Weird. I just figured the driver’s side springs/bushings were shot from all the miles driven without passenger. Happen to have a link to the thread? Looking to do all the bushings and shocks/struts this winter, might be good to have an idea what the ‘dealer fix’ is in case it’s still crooked with new parts.

I’m not sure where it is, they really messed up the search feature in the forums recently. I’d be careful with your bushing selection. This thread talks more about it and the lean might be in there too.

I don’t plan on anything crazy, mostly rubber bushings for things that move a lot (i.e. control arms) and poly on things that don’t (endlinks, etc). Just freshening things up, it’s got some weird clunks to look in to and could stand to be a little less bouncy (shocks, not the tires, though those are super bouncy too and on the list to upgrade).
