I think some of these had VANOS issues, I think they fixed it in late 2008 and I think there was a recall at some point. Other than that probably not a bad idea. I mean I’d at least want one with a sport pack though, I really don’t care for the standard seats.

Looks like it has the cold weather package. at 95k miles it may need spark plugs, cooling system refresh (thermostat, waterpump, expansion tank), transmission fluid flush, belts, maybe pulleys. On my E46 these are really easy weekend fixes. If you can get the last 7 VIN digits you can look up the build sheet for it.

Looks like you’re right about the cold weather pack, it’s got headlight washers and heated seats.
