I’ve been going through the series again over the last few months on Netflix. I actually just watched Sub Rosa (the one with Crusher and the ghost) the other day. It really was a bad episode.

Keiko is like a friend’s annoyingly cheery “arty” ditz mom. Wesley is like the teacher’s pet who tries to be so smart but somehow still doesn’t get above Bs and manages to piss everyone off.
Given the choice of which to send to the Phantom Zone, Wesley is no contest.

I liked it too. My little brother said they got their inspiration from Babylon 5, but I think he gave it a pass. I could have done without the Ferengi though. Except for the Nagus. DS9 without him would be inconceivable.
