It’s amazing how much I liked body kits back in the ‘80s but cannot stand them now. Besides the 6MT, one of the reasons I chose the Sport version of the Mazda5 was to avoid the side skirts and spoiler and other tacked-on stuff. A good design should be able to stand on its own without such visual frippery (not like the Nagare influenced Mazda5 counts, but you get my point.)

It get what you’re saying, it’s one of the things I like about my M3, there are a lot of subtle differences compared to a normal E9X. It’s obvious to people like us, but to the uninitiated it’s just another grey BMW.
