I doubt if he’ll ever be the equal of Tiff as a presenter (that English accent goes a long way), but the more he drives and talks about cars, the better. In the latest Ignition video of the Stinger, the little clip with him in the trunk 5 mins in was pretty great. He’s clearly having a lot of fun.

I hate Randy Pobst. Every time I think I had a pretty good lap time (for me) at Laguna Seca I think of him setting a record lap time at the very same Laguna Seca in a malfunctioning Corvette while talking to the camera and referring to the car as a sick puppy and wishing it were making more power.
Give me a fucking break, Randy.
Then we have Tiff, who destroys everything but a fully race prepared Aventador in a fucking Ute while laughing the whole while and, again, talking to the camera.
Seriously, fuck those guys, with their charm and smiles and blazing fast lap times. Give me a good old Captain Slow on TV so I can feel like I’m at least faster than somebody!

Haha! At least Randy’s pretty nerdy. And Tiff has bad teeth. Yeah... they’re awesome.
FWIW, I’ve often impressed past instructors at the track with being able to carry on a conversation while I’m driving. Not that I’m necessarily fast in the scheme of things, but I’m pretty smooth and controlled and can manage to talk while I’m driving. The fact that my M3 is so neutral in the corners probably helps!

That’s what I was basing my opinion on. To be fair, I’m not a fan of Carlos Lago either. I don’t like straight down the line goody goody type reviewers. Randy can drive and knows what he’s talking about but he’s just not very captivating to me.
