I’ll be honest. By the end of the first season of the reboot I was kind of sad it got canceled. Definitely started out super weak but improved as it went along.

I’ve heard a couple of people say that. I think I only made it 3-4 episodes in before I couldn’t take it.

I was younger, for sure, but once I got past the first half of the season it just fulfilled all my explosion-filled blue neon dreams of cool fast cars and bad guys

Yeah, I’m old enough to remember watching the original Knight Rider when it was in sindication. I’m not quite old enough to have watched it when new though.
I have no doubt comparing it to my nostalgia for the original soured it for me.
