Kids were very confused why the kid was leaning on th bumper. We initially told our kids he touched some cars and was in time out. - not many photos, I’m not into taking photos at parkinlot car shows. Quite a few neat cars though
We then explained it was not real. Owner of the T-bucket ford suggested the kids sit in it. This made them happy.
both wanted turns in drivers seat.

I don’t even get that kid thing. That’s just cringy stuff people at car shows do, the dolls the stuffed animals, the painted engine covers the meaningless plaques and the model car collections ruin car shows for me because the owners are just weridos with some really weird shit that they do. Just bring your car that’s all I want to see.

I’ve never been able to figure out what the kid thing even means. Is it supposed to be a kid in time-out or something? That’s the posture of a kid that’s crying.

I was once at a car show where they had a crankstart Morris wagon. And they stuffed a fake kid thing underneath it for humor
