In other news: My wife and I put in an offer on a house last week that was accepted. We’re moving in next month. The interior looks like HGTV exploded there around the time of the last housing bust. It’s all dark earthy color walls with VG fir trim everywhere (the only thing I sort of like in there, aside from the layout, but you want a happy wife), those terrible mixed-material tile/granite tile counters, and I hate most of the light fixtures. The problem is finding good looking ones when the current styles are completely tasteless.
