Before anyone asks: The zip-ties were to hold my phone there. I was trying to film the drive. But the camera kept focusing (damn touch screen) and it ended up all blurry.

Maybe my top automotive regret is that a year or two ago I could have bought a crashed ‘87 Grand National for $4k. Interior was mint, side was side swiped, needed new rear trailing arms. It was a rat and I wanted to leave it like that, but I couldn’t come up with the money in time.

I remember that, a gn is one of my (many) dream cars. Literally such a great car. So glad to see the history on the fireball / 3800 and how 50 years of development leads to how many variations the 3800 had till it’s death in 09. Sucks that you didn’t get it but shouldn’t hold on to it, there’s enough gns in the world that a crashed one will reappear next time when your ready (hopefully) I can only imagine the amount of nonrunning gns and such were scrapped wether in cash for clinkers or just because people thought an old Buick had no value
