Current owner, don’t get one, it’s massively overrated. It’s not that quick then when it’s cold enough that it is it doesn’t hook up. It doesn’t have enough space. The most fatal sin of all though is the complete lack of any soul or character. It is completely and utterly soulless.

Huh, and I thought all of the Canadian spec TDI’s were shipped to Chile. I know it because they come with heated seats as standard and the orange sidemarkers, also sold at really cheap prices:

Yes, but why would anyone buy one? The MK7 Golf looks better as a 5-door anyway. Also having back doors makes the car more practical. Passengers can get in/out easier. You don’t have to be a contortionist to get things from behind the front seats.
Why buy a hatchback only to make it less useful? I had an 02 SVT Focus for 10 years. They only sold them as a 3-door in 02. I like my 5-door GTI so much more.

There are people out there who think three doors look better. I don’t get it, but they exist.
Friend of mine drives a Scirocco, wouldn’t mind a 3-door GTI, but wouldn’t be seen dead in a 5-door.
