It didn’t really need it, but I wanted an excuse to use my new foam gun thing. Naturally it turns out I only had like 3/4 oz of soap left, so it came out a little light.

Ahhhh nice, love the FB RX7. Had one years back, unfortunately never could get it running. These cars are so timeless to me.

Looking good.

Nice. Which foam lance/canon did you get?

I love using my foam lance.

Thanks, I got one from amazon that was about $19 and looks exactly like all of them seem to. It works pretty well (like I said I didn’t have much soap on hand so it was a little watery), still getting the feel for the adjustments on it. It even came with the right fitting for my pressure washer, which surprised me.

I’ve three like that one. They are great.

When you get more shampoo, an inch in the bottle topped up with some warm water.

You don’t want the foam too thick as it won’t soak into the dirt or too thin as th watery mess will run straight off.

Somewhere short of shaving foam is best.

Run the bottle dry and then run a little longer or remove the bottle and run a little longer. This’ll reduce the speed of build up on the gauze mesh inside the lance.

If the foam goes from thick to watery after a few months use.

It’s easy to strip down and either replace the gauze or soak in descaler for a while and replace.
