Kinja'd!!!

I really need to start a list showing how tall one can be to fit within any car.

At 6'3", i know for a fact I cannot drive a Lotus Europa, and my hair gets blown out in an E-type convertible. This Datsun above is awesome but I fear it’s next on my list of cars that don’t fit the talls. Does anyone here have experience with putting on an sp311?

Whatd you think?

I really like those and they have been on my short list. I’m 6’ and round, so I imagine it is right. I had to squeeze into the Mini I bought for my wife last week. Knees and feet were tough.

New mini? I didn’t have too much trouble with those, kinda fit nice but im not round, maybe approaching a deflate gate football.

New to us old Mini. One of the classic Minis. We have a 2005 BMW Mini and that is fine. The new old Mini is a 1990.

I have never driven one, but I would love to!

Pretty sure it has a live axle, which might be interesting in such a small car, but I’d still like to check one out.

Would also really like to check out a 510

Ohh that’s a nice one. Someday soon my 78 will be as shiny.

There’s one for sale near me, lots of parts, mostly rust free Texas barn find...complete with all parts for a k24de swap....in that thing holy crap

If I wanted to stay NA and super light, I would do an SR20VE. Over 200hp in a super light NA aluminum inline 4.

As a 6'7" person, I’d love a list like that. It would have to be separated into torso height and leg/inseam length since no one is perfectly proportional...

Exactly. I’m 6’3” but with a long torso and short legs so leg room isn’t as important as windshield height for me when it comes to convertibles. I look over the top of a lot of windshields.

The ka24de may be less than 200hp but it’s got bigger torque and a fresh rebuild with who knows what awesome cams onto a 5spd swap included. It’s right out of a 240sx.

I mean, if it’s already available (which it is), then a KA24DE is a great option. They get hate from some people but they aren’t much heavier than an aluminum 4, they are seriously robust, and you can make plenty of power in NA or turbo form. Pretty sure I saw an NA one that made about 300 hp in a race trim (nismo race trucks or something)

Woah Yeats that’s stout. I’m sure a supercharged ka24 on this car would be a very special, classy tire smoker.

A supercharger would be neat.

A baby turbo that spools up fast could be cool too.

We need this list, but it probably needs to have inseam and width (belt size?) as added parameters. I’m 6'1", 225, 34" inseam, 38" waist. I could fit in an NC Miata, but felt like I couldn’t look straight out of the windshield. I could fit in the ND, and see out well, but my knees were just out of the way of the steering wheel. I could own one and drive one, but just barely... Fun little car.
