The rather short lady standing in the front is Connie, a real ‘Rosie The Riveter’. She riveted the 2000 rivets in the nose of every single one of the 1600 B-29s built in Wichita during WWII. 62 years later, only 7 of those 2000 rivets she installed in 1945 needed to be replaced.

That’s some damn fine build quality.
