If you have a 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner and haven’t yet changed your control arm ball joints, the time is now.

This happens WAY too often with this generation and given that they are all getting up in years but are generally pretty reliable for that time many people forget about wear items like ball joints. Reliable =/= maintenance free.

Also to all - Don’t forget to change your belts, even if they are a major PITA. I mean its great that it has 2 belts for the big items like water and alternator, but it just means 2 belts to replace at the same time. F$^&ing tight belts.
