They do, but you have to remove the cargo cover and the rear suspension towers are in the way of useable flat space anyway, so screw it. It pretty much is the least-wagon wagon you can buy.

Real talk: Had they made that, put the IS 300h powertrain that they sell everywhere else in, and sold it here... I probably would’ve gone for that over my Prius. (And, the battery on the IS 300h doesn’t even interfere with cargo space, instead going in the spare tire well.)
