I mean... it’s a fine car for her. Except for the fact that it has a way worse build quality than my TA.

Following the above rules... this is all I can think of.

2016 Toyota Prius Three

2000 Mazda Miata LS

2001 Mazda Miata - owned by a friend, I autocrossed it pretty often

1992 Mazda Miata

1999.5 Volkswagen Golf GL TDI

1985 Volkswagen Jetta Base Diesel (first car)

1991 Ford Ranger 2.9 V6 automatic 2WD - owned by my mom

1986 Volkswagen Golf Diesel

1991? Dodge/Plymouth Grand Caravan/Voyager (I honestly forget which it was) with the 3.3 V6 and an UltraDrive - owned by my employer at the time, missing a shock, and with a sticky throttle

Walking

2009 Smart ForTwo - owned by my dad

1988 Honda Civic DX - rusted to shit, suspension blown out, loose steering, slipping automatic

And I feel I need to justify the Prius being on top. The main reason I’m doing it is... I’m selling the Miata, not the Prius. When it comes down to it, I’ve got the keys in hand, and I’m picking a car to drive, odds are, it’ll be the Prius. The Miata is more fun for sure, and I’ll miss it, but I like the Prius’s other qualities, and I like the cash I’m gonna shove in the bank (to replace (and then some) the cash I pulled out to buy a scooter, which will replace the Miata’s role as the fun good weather conveyance).

#7: Big-ass sedan. You’re thinking of the C70.

#22: any of them, still better than that fucking Jetta

1-2.) 92 sc400 6speed (1 being the manual swapped one on coilovers and 2 being the stock one with a failing tranny)

3.) 01 Hyundia Elantra (the most reliable and resilient vehicle I’ve owned. Also had decent power and good handling characteristics)

4.) 91 Volvo 740 5speed (good seats, easy to drive, and fun to toss around)

5.) 97 Mercedes c230 (like the Volvo but with better suspension and more power, but it gets number 5 due to its shit interior and headgasket leak)

7.) 91 Mazda 323 5speed (gutless)

8.) 95 Honda Civic sedan (slow AF)

9.) 05 Kia Spectra (like the Elantra except the interior was worse and it felt heavier

10.) 91 Subaru loyale (had dogfood in the headliner, exhaust, and engine bay from mice. It died a glorious death of getting driving into things on purpose. Of course that wad after the electrical system gave up from the rodent damage.)
