So he goes through all of the work and effort to rebuild a Tesla, but Telsa disabled the supercharging capabilities. Because they have to approve the “Frankenstein” build first. It seems like electric vehicles will not be able to turn into hot rods like we all hoped.

With all the genius that guy has, I would have instead dropped that Tesla drivetrain into some other car. Tesla powered MX-5, anyone?
