My wife has a glass jar in which she is grown basil in our kitchen window. The kids love how u can see the roots through the glass. I had some leftover plexyglass so I made a larger box so they can grow a few different things. It’s about 16" L x 5" W x 6" H

i did most of it over the course of a few nights. the kids were in bed so power tools were off limits. I used a utility knive on the plexy and a cping saw for the wood. The corners could be better. I made the whole thing water tight with a bead of hot glue in at the seams in the plexy

Thought it was a model car case. Maybe put a truck and grow herbs in the bed of the truck? :P

I could add a little road in there with a hot wheels to make it look like it’s driving through some weird forest

Where did you get the Plexiglas? I have a project that may require some, and need to pick some up.

Home Depot.

I bought it a pretty long time ago so I forget what thickness it was but I wanna say I paid something like $30 for a 30X48 sheet, maybe 1/16th thick. There is a wide variety of sizes and thicknesses

Hmm. I wonder if Home Depot in Canada carries it as well.
