Damn, those lights are sexy. I should figure out a mounting bracket solution so I can get a pair to supplement my terrible headlights.

I have a pair of Hella 500 for the A3 . Bought a mini bullbar that mounts in license plate area for the install. I have to figure out how to reinforce the install on the grille mounted plate bracket. You can order the brackets all over. I found an eBay seller within the US selling them cheaper than on Amazon.
I paid about $15 shipped to midwest from California. They are lightweight aluminum.

I have been thinking of getting some lights for the Z. I have slightly upgraded headlights so they look correct but I would like some others. I might take the bumperettes or whatever they are called and mount them in the holes those were in. My hood opens forward so I think the newer and thinner light housings they make will work.
Other rally cars have different solutions but I think blocking the radiator isn’t a great idea.
This one looks like it has some airflow but they remove most of the bumper. So I think I will stick with my plan.
These are what they got in Japan for the Fairlady, about $150 for repros now:
I have been thinking about all of this a long time and I haven’t decided. I think I will work on new seats first.
