Kinja'd!!!

This 1958 O-6 Cardox fire crash truck was completely restored by 49th Civil Engineer Squadron fire and emergency services department at Holloman Air Force Base. They presented it to the Military Firefighter Heritage Museum at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas.

Also, perusing Air Force photo sites is fun.

In the service since 1958 and still not a flag officer?

If you can’t be replaced you’ll never be promoted.

Not entirely sure, but tiny trucks are a requirement when you’re navigating 1,000 year old narrow streets to get to a fire.
