Seems to be a fairly common mod to the 1988+ generation. I still don’t like it though.

That used to be a far too common back when the 88-98 GM trucks were popular. There was a roll-pan with the holes for the lights and then you put some stupid plastic covers on the factory lights. Gross.

People have been putting corvette taillights on pickup trucks for as long as corvettes have had four taillights. They’ve never looked good
