They stopped making these only a couple of years ago, and kept making Maruti Suzuki Alto 800.
So this because as sort of a replacement? But it is equally as bad as the original 800 :)

These were awesome in so many ways. Mostly with Hayabusa and GSXR 1100 engines but still awesome.
The current Alto is not to be sneezed at. You might blow it over.

my father owned one for a short time. It was much smaller compared to the Fiat based premier and morris based ambassador, but way more reliable and cheap to run. It probably may have been the original “fill it, shut it, forget it” cars.
*i know that phrase was for a motorbike, but still applies
