mounted my new wheels, 18s from a Legacy Spec B.
Overall the 215/45/18 is only slightly larger than the original 195/55/16. The wheels are in desperate need of new rubber though, so I’ll be aiming for 40 side profile to make them almost identical to the stock 16s profile.
Then, some real world lowering is necessary.

Never seen that single spoke touch before, are you going to put it on the one closest to your valve stem?

I like the asymmetry of it. and being vinyl, it will be removable should I bore of it. I’m not sure how I’ll align it, but in some manner that makes sense with the lug pattern. and I’ll rotate the center caps so the “subaru” text lines up with the red spoke being to the right.
I did oppo stickers on the civic
and Volk do the single coloured spoke often, but usually on fatter/less spoked wheels

I’m a slow man. compounded by my side of the garage looking like this as I emptied the basement for renovations.

I actually have the vinyl for the roof, and did decide on the vinyl for the rest of the car, but really need more space than my garage currently offers to get it affixed. So... good chance that will have to wait for spring :S

thanks. I knew I wanted something OEM, and the legacy wheels were a little more simple and unique than the millions of other impreza’s rolling around on later model impreza/wrx/sti 18in wheels.

Good point! I have the 5 spoke GT wheels which I like the simplicity of, but wish they were 18 in.

Nice look! I bumped to 18" from the stock 16s on my g35 with a lower profile tire so the overall size is within a few percent too. Still too much wheelwell gap on mine but I’m afraid ill eff up the already hard ride or end up rubbing lowering it.

yes, the look of lowered will come with some downsides. worth it to me though.
