Hope your Monday is going better than mine.
I have an outpatient procedure this morning. Showed up 20 minutes before I was to check in. Was told that I was at the wrong facility despite what my paperwork says.
Drive additional 20 minutes out of my way, which made me late. Get to hospital and there no directional signage to get to Outpatient.
So, I’M PISSED!
...even moreso that patients here have no manners. Just heard 6 different cellphone either ring or beep in just a one minute time span.

I returned from Kuwait 3 weeks ago, the house I was renting was sold while I was away. The new landlord is a cockbag and lives in a special world reserved for him. So I am getting out as fast as I can, though it isn’t fast enough for him as he wants to raise the rent $300 a month as he likely has to pay his mortgage. The house is split in two, the upstairs has been vacant for over a year now and mine was vacant for 6 months before I rented it. Good luck being a slumlord to an empty building.
I just got back from a trip Tuesday and was berated with emails. I finally made the decision Friday to end the lease as I wasn’t gonna deal with this any more. So I have 3 weeks to find a new place for me and the cat. The Slumlord decided he wants my place spotless on Monday so the realtor can do photos. Oh, did I mention I haven’t had a washer or dryer for 20 days because he was too cheap to get the old ones in my place. So after 2 long trips doing laundry is creative. No, I am not doing any of this as I have to work on the weekends too. Have the relator contact me and we can make proper arrangements or everyone’s time is wasted. Renters have lives and timelines too. Or do we? I am not your servant, dude.
So since he scheduled the worst time possible for the washer/dryer delivery (11-330) during the middle of everyone’s work day, I have to go in early and take a half day off to deal with this. I can’t bring my phone to work, so I have a halfhour window to get this right or I have to do this again in a few days.
But I think I found a new place to live...but more expensive than I’d like and it has carpeting which makes me worried about my bratty cat and her hairballs. Sigh...

Part of life...some Landlords are awesome and work with your schedule and to others the renter is merely a barnacle they want to be rid of because you are scum.
I’ve dealt with both throughout my nomadic travels. I am meeting a new one today who could be either...
Generally, I like to be left alone. I am clean, quiet and pay on time.
