This one is a Constant Velocity-style (pinless, uses balls and lugs). I don’t know how I lived without one for so many years (picked this one up last year).

I’ve never actually used one like that before, but even wobble extensions are a saving grace. All but one of my exhaust manifold nuts can be easily accessed with a wobble. The only one that’s can’t is the bottom one that’s directly behind the turbo. And you can get that one with a ratcheting box end.

Those of us that love to own Japanese cars have to get creative to access fasteners sometimes. It is like one of those mind teaser puzzles to figure out which combination of extensions, adapters, wobbles, and U-joints will give you a working tool for the job at hand.
