I’ve loved this piece for years.
It’s amazing how some music just transcends the ages and is appreciated for it’s beauty now, just as it was way back when.
Music is such an emotional thing, it’s possible to recall a very specific event in your life, just by a piece of music whether it was the first time you heard it or the hundredth time around the time of the event.

One of my favorite recordings of this piece has a string section in addition to the piano, and I got chills of anticipation as I was waiting to hear how certain parts of this would sound with the piano alone. Brava to the performer.
