It’s Oppo. At least post a Twingo from time to time.

It’s not Oppo without pictures of Piglet when clean.

I would say no. Why would anyone do that to a Multipla?

What about a rare picture of a dirty Piglet?

I usually love the Multipla.

But that, in the most blunt terms, is an abomination.

That was the 7th of December last year.

It was very cold and wet, she hadn’t been cleaned for two months.

It was mostly benzene deposits and a degrease, snow foam and shampoo was all she needed.

20 minutes in quite heavy wind and gusts. At times as soon as the water left the lance it went 90 degrees away from the car in the wind. Lol. She was washed ready to be dried.

Had to hold off drying briefly as it started spitting. It was quite an episode.

Hey, that’s my birthday!

Also, why can’t we have Škodas here? Yours looks so nice.

Belated happy birthday mate.

Because your country has ridiculous laws that require companies to crash test so many cars (on top of the ones they’ve already done to pass tests for around the world, that many if not the majority of countries accept) that it’s not financially viable to a company if they will only sell a certain amount of units. Hell you don’t even get the VW Passat the rest of the world (except China) gets.

Sometimes they even have to recrash test a car if a new engine comes out, that’s insane.

Ford wants to do, ‘One Ford’, yet doesn’t sell a three door Fiesta in the U.S. or even sell the new Fiesta at all. Doesn’t sell the Focus in anything other than a five door (so no estate), doesn’t sell the Transit Custom that fits in between the Connect and the full size Transit.

Not to mention the 25 year law.

So even if it’s not available via a main dealer, you can’t even grey import it.

You get a large selection of cars people buy but none of the cars others may want to buy if they had the choice.

Sorry, I got a bit ranty there. But you know all this.

Thank you very much.

Also, yes, BUT, I’ve driven two Skodas in my life.

A 2013 Yeti 1.8T and a 2014 Fabia 1.0 FSI. The Yeti was wonderful to drive. I’d buy one here if I could. The Fabia, on the other hand, was probably the slowest car I’ve driven. It also didn’t help that I drove them a mile above sea level.

The Yeti is getting replaced with the Karoq, Skodas version of the SEAT Ateca. Engines will be 1.0 and 1.5 petrol and 1.6 and 2.0 diesel, hybrids due early next year.

Kinja'd!!!

The current Fabia is 1.0 and 1.2TSi and 1.4 diesel.

Very different cars from the Yeti and the Mk2 Fabia.

I think you’d enjoy the Octavia 2.0TDi 181bhp manual vRS estate.
