Kinja'd!!!

Especially when you consider none of us had any experience building fences. And you know what the best part about handling 100 80-lb bags of concrete was? If you guessed “nothing,” you are correct!

Oh, lord, the concrete. I have PTSD flashbacks from when I had to help Dad with concrete work around the house. If it’s not the handling of the cement bags, it’s the casting of the sand and aggregate from storage site to mixing site, or the manual mixing work, or the cleanup work. Either way, it’s messy, back-breaking business. And no, an S-10 with the 2.8L V6 can’t go up a 30° incline while loaded with a cubic yard of sand in the bed, so you better be on your best form to cart all that sand up the hill with a wheelbarrow.

Looks good! While you’re at it you can do my back fence. Cedar, though, not vinyl, to match the side.

Carrying 980 lbs of concrete in an ancient half-ton pickup was pushing the “sketch” boundary for me.
