So, the engine from the 90's Viper can now be attained for less than 9 grand. With that in mind, what would you all choose to put it in? (money no object, of course) Seems like these engines are *almost* attainable for the average Jalop who likes bad financial decisions. My vote goes for this:
With some sticky tires and Ridetech suspension, of course.

Apparently Kinja didn’t like my suggestion of a Fiat 600 Multipla and completely dropped it from the list. That alone means it must be the best idea.

Sadly the world is running out of TVR’s straight sixes (a racing engine not lasting the distance in a road car, shocking!) and well TVRs and Vipers have always been brothers from different mothers. So I’ll go with a Tuscan.

Seems like you’re paying mostly for the novelty/exclusivity of it, since you could do a really good LS/6 speed for 1/3 to maybe 1/2 the price. It’s funny now to think they used 8 liters and 10 cylinders to ‘only’ make 400hp.
