Down at the Starbucks. People import the craziest stuff. And they are heroes for it. I love how tiny it looks next to the Traverse. Heck it looks small even compared to the Neon on the other side of it.

I want it. I wish I was braze enough to daily a crazy import like that. Trouble is I got no time to become an expert on a car that is 25 years old and doesn’t have a lot of English language support.

It’s not a ‘crazy’ import in the UK though, they’re common enough to not stand out in traffic, and plenty of non-car guys know what they’re called.
I guess that’s what happens when an import gets popular.

About the only JDM imports here in the US that has become popular enough to not stand out are Skylines. Our 25 year rule means that finding a good rust-free car import is tricky and getting support/parts is difficult. That doesn’t mean there aren’t people importing things like Beats and AZ-1's but it takes a lot of commitment and a real passion for the particular model so they are rare.

Yeah, I think you nailed it as far as imported cars in the US goes. Hopefully R32 prices will lower when the R34 becomes importable.
Granted, it’s not a walk in the park in the UK either, but Figaros have just been imported for a looong time. Same goes with Elgrands, FTOs etc.

Well, it’s just a Mk1 Micra underneath so the mechanical bits should be available and in English, albeit not as commonly as they used to be. It’s the body and trim bits that would be problematic.
