not when i was driving in the north of Scotland in 2000. slid off the road into ditch
going around a couple of corners the shitter Felicia rental car (T391CUD) tried chucking me off the road.

i did visit John O’Groats. nice place, wouldn’t want to live in the region though
in 2000 i went for a drive all the way around the mainland UK, it was a great trip, 2 months well spent.

Had friends that lived in Pitlochry.
Miles away from anywhere.
Unless you live in Edinburgh, Perth, Aberdeen, etc... (definitely not Dundee), there isn’t much past Glasgow other than small towns and villages. Great scenery but not a lot to do.
They soon came back to Carlisle.
I take it you visited Carlisle or at least passed in on the M6.

They have a lot of VW parts but they are actually the last Skoda based on their own platform. It’s a derivative of the earlier Favorit. My mam used to own one haha.
