This explains the V1 MR16DDT & V2 MR26DDT differences better then I ever could.

This is the same guy that was attempting the 500hp Juke that was the FP a while back. He just finished it & no matter what was done the CVT was slipping at 270whp.

Do these have decent potential? Really wish Nissan would make another 2 liter turbo.

I’m really looking forward to the 2.0 VCT engine coming out soon in the next QX50.

The V1's are easier to mod, but less reliable. The V2's are harder mod (lots of work in requires the engine to come out, not the case for the V1), but it’s more reliable. Pick your poison. A intake, tune, & exhaust will give 240-250whp/250-260wtq. After that the stock turbo is maxed out.

That’s not bad at all for such a small engine on the stock turbo!

I could see a Sentra SR with the 6 speed being a fun project when the prices come down.

The Sentra SR has the V2 motor. The stock turbo is pushing 26psi like that, I much rather run a larger turbo with lesser psi, & it have more top end. When I had my Juke on a dyno in May the power fucked off at 5550rpm. That is a stock base line, nissan is sand bagging it good.
