Kinja'd!!!

The CTS-V is such a badass car.

I also saw a near-pristine Chevy Chevette today but in my awe that one is actually still running, I forgot to get any pics.

Also a tuned Geo:

The V2 is nice... I don’t think the interior has aged that well though.

Everything from the center stack to the gauges looks really dated. I was kinda surprised because I was very close to pulling the trigger on a sedan about 5 years ago, but I couldn’t see myself doing that today.

I just watched a CTS-VR annihilate the competition in a GT race at Sonoma today. It held a ~5 second lead the entire race, kicking the crap out of Ferrari, Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini. Really nice pop from the exhaust at every upshift too. All of the “racing” was for 2-5th place.

This is the second time I’ve seen Cadillac lay waste to the rest of the field.

The last time the guy driving was only 16 years old, which made it even all that much more impressive.

The gen 2 interior is sooooo much better than the first gen, as is the rest of the car, but that being said, I would still drive my first gen if I had it. It wasn’t a bad place to spend some seat time. I thought the gen 2s are still decent, but after the 3rd gen, maybe not as nice, but none of that crap touch screen control in the gen 2, if memory serves. Now the gen 1 looks like an Atari 2600 version game in comparison, but I’d still drive the wheels off one. Fun cars for sure.
