Installing trim, just like I did last weekend, and like I’ll do next weekend, and the next, and the next...
Each complete door takes 25 individual pieces of wood. I can see why this type of trim went out of style after WW2.
That’s all new construction that’s added onto my very old house.

Nothing. The opera is doing the final performance of Carmen on Sunday the 19th. Next show is November 1-2, Prokofiev 5. The show is called “Beyond the Score” and the first half of the concert is a history of Prokofiev and the 5th symphony presented by actors and with musical examples played by the orchestra, then a full performance of the work after intermission. We did the same with Rite of Spring a few years ago and it was fantastic.
