The 911 is surprisingly reliable throughout the generations. Hoover blew his up by taking a known beat to hell car without the IMS fix to a racetrack. I would stick a lit piece of dynamite under a non-ims fix car before I took it to a track and flogged it.

I dreamed of an LS swap before committing to the 3.2 swap and goddamn it, his videos made me feel really good about my choice. I’m into my project for maybe $4,500(including shipping it originally) and I know he said he was way over budget on his LS swap and I think his budget was like $10k, and he had the help of a mechanic...

He told me how deep he is into it. Not gonna spoil it here but.. uh, yeah. Yikes. I do think he was paying his mechanic for labor and stuff though, so it’s not really a realistic price for someone with more knowhow doing it themselves in their garage.

There is a 77 924 sitting in my FIL’s garage. My brother in law wants to put a turbo 5 cylinder Audi engine in it, but I just want to shove an 5.3l LS In it sooooo bad.
