Some dickweed in an F250 or 350 had an air horn and used it when he was offended after I passed him in the fast lane, and I’ll admit it scared the crap out of me. If he causes an accident with it he’d be liable.

I want to just to get the Hella Super Tone horns for the cars since apparently Standard horns don’t work on people.

That takes me back. Regular driving in southern Holland, always two idiots who take over the road on every trip.

Good to see even with poor driving (okay, rather more spacial awareness than bad driving from the trucks) the trucks at least have good etiquette to apologise.

It’s the same for thank you in the U.K., once completed your manoeuvre you indicate to the opposite side and back a couple of times.

In the United States a thank you or apology to another driver is done with the hazard lights

You can use two flashes of the hazards to say thank you but generally flashing hazard lights is to warn there is a hazard ahead and to slow down.

Yup it’s traditonallly 2-3 flashes from what I’ve seen/use myself.
