Whoever dared to suggest something so stupid should probably think about the fact that JRRT was a scholar of Old English (then called “Anglo-Saxon”) and was very much into Old Norse and old Germanic languages and culture etc.
Even “Lord of the Rings” is an old kenning for “king”.
