This is my fall back plan. Call it an escape hatch. Should the E61 develop some major failure I would trade it in for one of these. Nice-ish ones with the v6 go for about half of what the beemer is worth (Germans are badge snobs) so I should be able to walk drive away from a broken gearbox or so in a Busso V6 with little or no money involved.

It’s only two more years until 159s are importable into Canada. I can not wait.
Of course, if you literally can’t wait, it’s predecessor the 156 is very much importable. Although you can’t get the prettier facelifted 2003-2007 version for another year.

Agreed. The numbers of the Cadillac are impressive. But come on, my eyes are bleeding here. That’s maybe slightly hyperbolic, but they’re rather unattractive looking and the current versions rather overpriced.
