In this video we drive the new Lexus LC500 Sport Coupe. It’s really good. Granted, the version we tested costs $103,000, so it’s not for everyone. But if you’re in the market for something fast, fun and different, this should certainly be a contender:

If I was going to spend that kind of money on a car an LC would be my first choice. I wouldn’t want a true sports car because I’d be too afraid to really hoon on it any way, but I’d still want something interesting.

Also I find it halarious that so many people act like rs a surprise that Lexus IS making an exciting, powerful V8 sport Luxury coupe, you know the same company that made the SC300, and sc400, which this car is a successor to, not to mention the IS-F and LFA two of the most exciting cars made in last 15 years.

The LC is much better than both the SC and IS-F cars in terms of both performance and looks. I liked the IS-F, but it hardly set the world on fire. Most people thought it was just another boring Lexus from the outside. As for the LFA, it was so rare and expensive, it might as well have not existed at all.

I guess in my mine those the Fs and the older SCs and LSs are the cars that define Lexus, not the ES and RX. I’ve always thought of Lexus as a cool company, that also makes some boring cars, not the other way around

I sell these and the drive is worth every penny of the 6 figure price tag. A s for the infotainment/nav, a good friend of mine who is an auto journalist above jalop level, “the system is not great, but because it is so different from the other cars we drive it is difficult to get used to. If I only drove Lexus cars, it would be easy to live with”

I’ve spent a significant amount of time with the Toyota/Lexus systems in the real world, enough to be equal to months of use. It’s not a matter of getting used to it, it’s clearly well below the competition in terms of efficient usability and functionality.
