Kinja'd!!!

Someone’s done quite a good job converting it into a flathood, it seems to have minimal rust, it has a B23E (140hp instead of the usual ~100hp), it has a working overdrive, and it’s cheap. It just also needs a head gasket....not a huge deal though. I’ve gotta draw the line somewhere, however, and that’s probably right around three cars, and no more space for more cars anyways.

But it’s so cool, and pretty much my ideal 240.....

That thing is cool. Also $800 seems pretty reasonable, even knowing nothing about old Volvos.

Check out the Made in Nova Scotia sticker on the radiator support!

It’s surprisingly reasonable, most people ask at least $1000 for any 242, even if it’s a basket case

I hate those sunroof wind protector things so much. I don’t understand why people put them on sunroofs.

If I had anywhere to put it I’d be on my way right after work today

I don’t hate them. Sometimes I like them, but I don’t love it on this car

As opposed to the coffin nose it would’ve originally had. It’s fairly common to swapthem to look like older ones with the flat hood and round headlights
