So I got new wheels for the G, which you can see below:

Kinja'd!!!

I got them in 19x9.5 +35 with 255/40s at all 4 corners so I could rotate them. The default choice for Gs is usually 19x8.5/9.5. I should have went with 8.5s all around... I had to spend an extra $150 or so to get spacers on the front, and now I have some pretty mean poke.

The vendor even called me to ask if I was sure if I wanted that combo and I insisted. Oh well. The rubbing is not too bad and I should be able to eliminate it completely with a little more camber. Don’t worry, we are not completely stancing it out; I drive it hard so I need it to be aligned within reason. But yea, next set of wheels, definitely listening to the vendor. It does look absolutely insane though.

I honestly think they look pretty sick dude. Although the rubbing would drive me crazy.

It’s only up front and under the absolute worst conditions (big bumps or bumps under load). Still though I do want to get the camber sorted. Somehow at the same height the right side has less negative camber than the left.

Nice wheels! But you’re right, 8,5 would have been enough.

Other “listen to the vendor” story: when I bought my sound system, I hesitated between a classic 5.1 setup with a subwoofer and 5 small speakers with mp3 and dvd function (which was really popular at the time) and a setup with a dedicated amplifier, 2 towers, 2 satellites and a center speaker, which cost a good bit more.

He told me to take the one I really wanted (obviously the most expensive one) because I would regret it every time I would use it. He was right. I still love this system 11 years later

Does the camber come with a free vape?

Oh yea, I am all about the dedicated amp home audio life as well. Great thing is a lot of people are selling their old equipment off on Craigslist. I have 2.1 setups in my living room, home gym and kitchen and I don’t think I spent more than $1000 on all of it.

Yes, along with an “I<3H8rs” windshield banner and a stuffed animal to hang from a tow hook.

What’d you lower the car on? That looks nice. Also, how’s the ride compared to stock?

It looks fantastic. Is rolling the fenders not an option?

Thanks. Tein Basis Zs. I bought them with the intention of keeping the springs/hardware and getting Koni Yellows, but they ride well enough that I’m just going to keep them. The ride is definitely busier than stock... if you live in an area with bad roads it would be awful. But here in the Southeast it’s pretty good.

Thanks! It is, but I need to sort the alignment out anyway, so I would rather put money there. The interference is very minor.
