Looks to be a small device.
Probably aimed to create panic more than anything else as witnesses describe the device as a ‘flash and a bang’.
Incident happened at 8:20am (7:20am GMT).
18 reported injured non fatal.

An explosion on a Tube train in south-west London is being treated as terrorism, Scotland Yard has said.
Passengers were injured following the blast at 08:20 BST at Parsons Green station on the District Line.
Pictures show a white bucket on fire inside a supermarket bag, but do not appear to show extensive damage to the inside of the carriage.
Eighteen people had been taken hospital, the London Ambulance Service said in a statement.
The Metropolitan Police said it was too early to confirm the cause of the fire and the station has been cordoned off.
Prime Minister Theresa May tweeted : “My thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and emergency services who are responding bravely to this terrorist incident.”
The government’s emergency committee, Cobra, is meeting at 13:00 BST.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has appealed for calm, saying the city “will never be intimidated or defeated by terrorism”.
Witnesses have described seeing at least one passenger with facial injuries.
Others have spoken of “panic” as alarmed passengers left the train at Parsons Green station.

Suffice it to say that people who are willin to blow themselves or others up are experiencing more than just a “dislike” for society. Obviously there is still no excuse for actions like these, but if we want to actually solve the problem, we have to understand that the conflict is much deeper than “they hate us for our freedoms”.

I could almost imagine it had such a thing happened in a country like North Korea. Here though, if you don’t like it you’re free to try to change things in a civilized way. You’re also free to move abroad (at least pre-Brexit ;) ).
I don’t understand why people find it hard to just live and let live.

Since Scotland Yard confirmed they are treating it as a terrorist incident the news will be all over it. They’ll be ramping up with the thought there may be a secondary device, etc..., the assessment, investigation, raids, arrests, etc...

If it’s linked to IS (which they’ll claim it is whether it is or not), it’s not so much our freedom, it’s about us not letting them thugs take away others freedom in the middle east to assert their idiotic way of thinking and their interpretation of the koran. I’ve worked with several islamic people and they were very pleasant and peaceful. This is a bastardisation of religion.
