Instrument gauge, centre console and A/C control backlights died all at once tonight. I started looking at fuse and relay diagrams.
After randomly reading a FerrariChat thread about how someone had accidentally turned the dimmer knob all the way down, I went down to the garage and turned the knob.
The dash lights flickered.
I slapped it several times.
Problem solved. So Italian.

That actually happened in my old Roadmaster wagon. They had wonky switches.
