Have a cool civic for taking time to read my ad.
Alright, so I’m ready to sell the RSX I recently bought. I usually don’t hang on to cars for long, but I think I’m going to start the search for a nice V8 powered Japanese luxury sedan because I just need one in my life.

My only comment is why not hang onto it for a while. Sell it at 50k miles for $8k. Looks like you’ve had it less than a month.

Nice add. Might be worth doing the exterior detail (pay someone 100-200 to buff and wax) and headlight polish (do it yourself they never really last to long but who cares for 30 bucks) just so you A:get to enjoy it B:it shows better. No sure what those sell for but with only 33k at 8 grand can’t be to far off. Good luck!

I so wanted one in 2003 when i was first brand new car shopping. The type S was out of my price range, i would of settled on a base manual version. I ended up buying a protege5 since i had a mazda dealer close to me. I always had a thing for the RSX

Believe it or not, the headlights have already been done... They were so much worse before. This weekend should be good for doing a full detail myself. Thanks!

I’ve thought about it but since I don’t have a garage I’d hate to park it on the street, especially during winter time. Also, my brother is learning to drive and an automatic would make that 100x easier.

Short & to the point, which is nice. I like the pictures though I’d add another picture of the trunk and one of the front seats since you have photos of everywhere else, but that’s just me nitpicking.
Would you take an XBox 360 with a broken disc drive, a 22 rifle with the serial scratched off, and a pit bully puppy as a trade?

They were really good looking little wagons. Only had 130 ish HP, but handled great. They even came factory equipped with rust.
Mine was silver and bought carbon clear lights to match the factory front lights. Painted the calipers red. Put a PFlow and a mazda speed muffler. Had a nice sound to it.
And did i mention it had factory rust

Like my post says, I usually don’t hang on to cars that long, but I’ll put that in the ad. I’m sure people see the car only being registered for a month and then being for sale kind of sketchy. Thanks for the advice.

You and I have different definitions of the word “cool.”
For your ad:
> Show close up pictures of the scratches
> Leave out the portion about “All stock, never been modified”
> “Interior shows good”... sounds weird
I would leave out the “stock” line because I immediately question its validity. Without you mentioning that, I would assume from looking at the pictures that it was never modified. Just looks like a clean, completely stock, RSX.

Totally agree. If I were you I’d clean the hell out of it and while still being honest try my best to buff any scratches and get it as fresh as possible so you can play on the rarity of the low mileage and unmolestedness. Hate”like new” ads but with those miles on a car that appreciated you deserve to get as much money as someone is willing to pay and the car is probably already being passed around on some honda forums somewhere. If your a brave man you’d submit it to nice price crack pipe but then you’d be in the cross hairs of the front page:)
