The sound out of the new RSRs is insane, toss up between them and the LMP2s as to the loudest cars out there.

When we went to Spa at the Europpomeet this spring, they let us onto the track during the lunch break of some high end sports car training sessions. After we were done and while we got the tour of the paddocks, press facilities and the likes, they were back on track. The Porsches sounded great, really shredding your eardrums, the Ferraris in comparison sounded like glorified vacuums.
What I didn’t know is that rent for the day depends on low many decibels your cars make. That’s why this poor GT40 had to run an extra set of external mufflers (still the best sounding car on the track).

Hearing them streak through the forests of Mosport was pretty amaze too. RSR is louder on acceleration but the Gibson motors have higher peak loudness during hard downshifts.
