Haven’t done an oil painting since... 2011? 2012? Something like that. Might go back to it. Got most of the painting supplies in the basement. Some stuff I made

Thanks. Always greatly preferred oils... yes it’s harder and takes forever to dry but it is infinitely more flexible, easier to mix colors, and looks better. And is way more toxic.

My moms favorite medium is water colors. I could never really get that into them.

Both my mother and my current SO are oil painters, they always seem to like painting on suspended canvases without the chassis. Have you ever tried that?
