It makes bumps look like jumps.
I think that weirdly soft suspension is why I think this thing is kinda fun to drive. All your movements are exaggerated and it makes you giggle.
And no, the shocks and struts aren’t worn out.
It is weird though, it doesn’t feel floaty going down the road, but it looks like that going over a bump.

A contractor buddy of my dad’s was obsessed with Rangers. He’d lease a new one every couple three years. Always 4.0/auto/ext cab/4x4. He was under the deluded impression that they were fast. I swear this is a direct quote from him, “The soft suspension makes it faster.”

Soft suspension makes it go faster. That’s a new one. Feel faster is one thing, since anything feels quick when you floor it and the ass end hits the bump stops.

Saint Jimmy’s shocks are HOSED. Plus the saggy rear springs. This means that the ride is pretty plush but the whole truck rocks forward and back a few times when I come to a stop. Among other interesting handling characteristics. Like the rear tire that doesn’t hold air making things super tail-happy (lift off oversteer!) when coupled with that G80.

My M3 was really bad when I first had it because all the shocks were completely shot. Handling all over the place and it jumped all over the road. Didnt even float, just crashed into the bump stops
