Can I trade a P-59 and the Phantom to get reliable motors on the 262?

Well, the Phantom was groundbreaking, but it really didn’t find its legs until it was developed into the F2 Banshee. And the Airacomet was kind of a dog, but Lockheed bought the rights and Kelly Johnson turned it into the P-80 Shooting Star. Out of the three, the 262 was probably the best at what it did at the time. Considering where the other two aircraft went, it would have been interesting to see what the Germans could have done with the 262. So I would track the 262 since it was significantly faster than the other two, and DD and burn would be a toss up. I’d burn them both to get to the aircraft they were developed into.

Burn? You won’t need to burn. Just get into a dogfight with nazi Germany

How about a P-51 with a couple of pulse jets?

DD ze German, Track the P-59, and Burn the PH-1.

I refuse to acknowledge the H-1 as anything other than a helicopter.

Did you know the Gloster Meteor is still flying? Martin Baker has a pair of them that they use for ejection seat testing.

Kinja'd!!!

Also, did you know that the Meteor was the first aircraft to be successfully flown with a turboprop engine? I think it makes a dead sexy turboprop.

Huh it is Gloster. Should have known that.

I knew Martin Baker still had them. I didn’t know they still flew them.

If I had to pick a flying example, it’d be WA591:
