the pendants are pretty pedestrian, builder’s grade-lookin’ HGTV stuff, but the rest could be pretty good in a contextual setting. i also don’t like edison bulbs much, but i think trying to put a standard bulb in those sconces would look atrocious.

I like the soft yellow glow of incandescent lights, but don’t like the heat they put off or their power consumption.
The chandeliers are ugly, hard “no”. The others (#2 & #4) I like.
Mind you, I prefer LEDs that are used in a creative manner to light without proper fixtures. I like the strips on top of ledges near the ceiling that reflect down on a room, avoiding a traditional light fixture entirely.
I also despise that wall paneling garbage in #2. Goddamned HGTV bullshit. This one lady in Waco TX is obsessed with the crap (and doesn’t even know the right name for it), so everyone is slapping it on walls everywhere. All it reminds me of are 1970s single-wide mobile homes.

Light fixtures, switches, and molding are the ultimate in disposable design. I’m glad that wallpaper (the devil) isn’t cool, I just wish they’d stop with this paneling garbage.
I want to burn down the HGTV headquarters for keeping us stuck in this 2005 time warp forever.
